Photographing Fay and Johns wedding was a real career highlight for me.
From the moment I walked into their house to get some photos of the bridal party getting ready I knew the day was going to be great. Fay was the most chilled out bride I have ever met, nothing was going to phase her that’s for sure.
The ceremony itself at Lewes Registry Office aka Southover Grange was a very personal service as the registrar was in fact a godparent to the bride, it was beautiful to see the words said by the registrar be a little more personal than a normal service.
Southover Grange in Lewes is always the perfect backdrop to photos with all the flowers and the beautiful stone walls.
After photos, a few drinks and ice creams in the Grange the wedding party were on their way to Horsted Pond Farm for a perfect country side reception.
I have always seen photos of Horsted Pond Farm and have been intrigued, it was as I expected and so much more, it was the perfect venue for a chilled out newly married couple to relax, eat, drink and dance the evening away with friends and family.
The open sided tent and the decorations were so country chic and absolutely perfect for the surroundings.
The wildflower meadows around the field itself were absolutely stunning, making the perfect evening photos.
Here’s a few of my favourites from the day!
